AshDVS Odd for a MAF issue not to log anything. Mine was dead and logged a code. Swapped it for a new one, and all good.
Ex850R My MAF plays up , no codes , the o2 I think gives the ECU a headache and it gets sensitive to MAF? Weird shit. I clean the MAF and its good for a while , had to swap it over tho after last clean. My cat may be clogged too so upsetting everything anyway. I had luck with a cheap MAF. Could have been lucky. I think it went with a car that I sold though.... So no luck resolderi g your ABS unit?
Ghettobird The abs motor siezed, the bearing retainer in the rear of the motor melted & sent itself to hell It ran fine with the old MAF, just a bit asmatic mid range & low boost No codes to speak of,
Ghettobird *30/12/2015* Update Fitted up a reco'd ABS module today & for the first time in my ownership the lights are off! Ghettobird 27/01/2016 Update! Mmmmmmm Red Speakers were stuffed - So I replaced them Discovered a snapped window support tab -_- That explains my clunking window Whats this?? Crashed an E30 meet... Found some unexpected appreciation for the car Late last year after numerous mountain runs I decided the car needed a 5 speed swap Put out the feelers for a swapkit or a complete car. Decided to definetly manual swap the car after I noticed I was losing oil (RMS)... How convenient! Ewwww :'( HELLO!!!! Body was very good, shame really Mmmmmm yiss Shout out to Tim for helping out! Never would have been able to do it all with my stuffed hand In her final resting place Found a red civic Time to get the goodies out! The day after I went to a Cars & Coffee meet with Miles & Ash, Great meet if you are ever in the area! https://www.facebook.com/cngvic/ Hehehe Found this relic on the way home Time for some rear brakes! EBC slotted & dimpled Mmmmm yissss Nice & painted Really should have painted the callipers... maybe next time Basterd -_- Thought id do some automotive archaeology Next day @ Johns Its out!!!!!! Confirmed M56H, I rubbed the blooming H off trying to clear the oil -_- Slowly... So much room for activities! Soon... Done! Reaping the fruits of the parts pig The parts car had ALL kinds of odd stuff on it, mainly the dual mass FW & internal slave. Some digging around in Johns piles of endless goodies produced this pretty lady. Sent her off for a re-machine and im back in business! Awww yeahhhhh Thick & Meaty Looking a bit like a wreck now :) Got bored & fitted the pedal box up. yes, Its still auto Easy as pie! Whats this?? :O Bawwwwwwwwwww Biiiiiig Thats it for now

Stay tuned for the 5 speed swap!
DCW242 Looking good! those clips are balancing clips. 850 engine cooling fans have them too. Lake Mountain looks great, I'll go up there at some stage.
Rob Ghettobird;68057 wrote Does anyone have a nice 850 rear bumper bump strip? Im getting over my faded one The rear bumper is all one piece I believe (it certainly is on a wagon) You can't replace the grey bit like you can on the front.
Ghettobird Update time! GRM Open day Decided to strip the shit out of my locknuts - What a huge pain in the ass -_- Had the guys at Tru Fit on Warrigal road weld the nuts off, top blokes Took it for a track day! Prep Things I learnt: My tyres suck SHIT Auto transmissions dont like getting hot :P More boost is needed :D Major oil leak from RMS caused by a day of flogging the car @AshDVS's 320mm brake conversion was worth every dollar - When the brakes get hot, they get consistent & not once did I run out of brakes Way home Leaky :'( Borrowed some wheels for a quick pic... So pretty but WAY too big :( Drove a manual 850R wagon, was the most fun ive had in an 850, this manual swap NEEDS to hurry up and happen Had new shoes put on (Falken FK453s in 215 45 17's), they rub ever so slightly - Will put these tyres on the 240 when that is on the road again FNH! Up next: Manual swap Tune for 16T or 18T? 3' DP with "race cat" Tow bar Fix up paint work Shocks & springs?
