Sorry for the absence, Ive been very busy the last year and a half.
Ive been a bit more reserved lately after a good friends car was stolen and burnt the ground by senseless theives, Its a horrible feeling that no matter how good a community is that there is still people out there who are inclined to ruin it for everyone.
The car is in storage at the moment which has probably been the best thing for it in the past 24ish months.
On my list to do is:
• Find a rental property closer to where I work, this will allow me to bring all my cars together (Sorry Mark & John ?)
• Find a replacement radiator as the brand new genuine one (now purchased too far out of warranty for SMG to assist with) is leaking from the top fins :(
• Major detail.
• Replace the battery terminals as the + post actually broke when I put her into storage.
• Major fluids service.
• Have a new exhaust made up. The old TME system has over time fallen apart and I was experiencing a lot of exhaust gas buildup in the cabin. Its important to me that I dont get out of the car, or any car for that matter reeking of burnt fuel and oil as it totally ruins my experience.
• Proper tune/Maxx ECU conversion
I really hope to have it out again in the next few months as I miss it & my 240 very much. Having so many cars has its pros and cons, the worst of which is that no 1 car is ever complete and there is always work to be done.
I decided that it was best to store her until I can give it the attention and time she deserves, Instead of driving it around in what I feel to be a sad and sorry state.
