Went on holiday for 2 months, car was running perfectly beforehand. Now turns over but won’t start. Tried jumping, not the battery.
Don’t have heaps of knowledge about this car. What are the nexts steps in terms of trouble shooting?

- You mention the engine turns over - do you mean the starter motor cranks normally when you turn the key?
- Does the fuel pump make noise when you turn the key to position II?
- Remove one spark plug, ground plug against something metal (such as the intake manifold or engine head) and crank engine - does the spark plug spark?
1 & 2, yes.
3, just remove a plug lead and rest it somewhere about 2mm from earth like the cam cover. No need to pull a plug. Yet.
Another test is crank for a few seconds then smell the exhaust pipe. Smells like petrol, you likely have fuel.
Yes it cranks and fuel pump makes a sound when keys in position II
I haven’t checked spark plugs
Pull a plug lead and check for spark.
