Update…. EOI….. compete at the Autumn Historics, May 2025 , Morgan Park, Warwick Qld.
folks, im a member of the Warwick District Sporting Car (WDSCC) club that operates Morgan park. The Autumn Historics are scheduled for 9-10-11 may 2025 and will be co-arranged with WDSCC and HRCC (Qld) .
both formal racing and supersprints will be available and we are trying to get enough interest for a Nd series supersprint, that will only allow for 72-84 touring cars like Volvo 240.
This large meeting is an ideal place to show off your stock or modifed Volvo in company with other saloon cars of that era only. you will likely get practice + 4 events over weekend. The sprints , which only need a cheap/ simple "basic speed licence", will be rolling start and might have 15-20 cars on track . The longer K track (3km) is most likely the one we will use. Accommodation in Warwick can be difficult on short notice, so book well ahead or plan ahead to camp on site. The "long" track (3km) has recently had lots of $ spent on and around it , so everyone should get a great track and a relatively safe layout. The club is hoping to have on-site fuel sales by then.
