I'd only pay about $1k for that but I doubt they come down that low.
Yeah I know it's not what I originally wanted but I've decided that being a sedan doesn't really mattery - I don't need to transport a lot of stuff normally, and I can borrow my dad's ute if I need to.
Would you only pay $1000 because it's old, or auto, or both, or another reason? Of all the ones I've seen for sale, most of the ones that are less than $1500 seem to be in pretty ordinary condition whereas this one is a 1 owner car with full service history...
lasercowboy;56727 wroteYeah you are a confusing guy! There's a manual wagon for sale in Sydney, but it's the wrong colour and too old, whereas this is an auto sedan that's the same age?
Yeah sorry, I can see how I've been confusing!
As I said, I've decided sedan vs wagon isn't a big deal. But the one in Sydney is a manual which is good, so I haven't ruled it out at all. The year and colour are only small things, not a big deal really - the main issue with it is that it's in Sydney, which is a pain for me logistically, for at least a few months. On the other hand, the sedan is closer to me and I will actually be going down that way in the near future.
The wagon also doesn't look like it's in very good condition - I've sent the seller a message asking for interior photos which will tell me more though. Whereas the sedan is in extremely good condition (I've discussed it with the seller). The sedan also has 6 months rego vs the unregistered wagon.
(The sedan also has Virgos which I like, although these can always be bought later I guess.)
At the end of the day then, aside from the fact that it's a wagon, the only thing that the Sydney one has going for it is that it's a manual.
If you see a flaw in my reasoning, though, please let me know!
