244 transmission - only reverse

After driving a few thousand kms around QLD for Mysterybox Bluey the 244 was shipped back to NSW on a truck. Unfortunately upon arriving I’ve found that she only goes engages and drives in reverse.

Moves through ND21 and the linkage moves the shifter on the transmission, but no power to wheels. Feels like it’s in neutral for all forward gears.

Any thoughts on things I can look at before I start sweating and swearing about a dead transmission?

1982 b21A(Carbie) 3 speed auto.

maxthedog the sanity check would be to check the fluid level. After that maybe drop the pan and filter and read the dregs. There's a band clamp that I think is responsible for reverse/nit reverse, which I think is adjustable from the outside??

I think I have the Volvo service manual for this transmission, give me a bit...
