Looking for 850 Gearbox or Rebuild Kit (Manual)

I'm looking to replace or rebuild the manual gearbox for my 1995, 850 T-5R but having no luck finding any parts locally. I have found some overseas, but shipping is either not possible or cost prohibitive. Appreciate any advice or recommendations in that regard.

Which parts of the gearbox do you need?

I'm not exactly sure. It's a little noisy in first and second gear.

You could always change to a six speed M66 from a focus xr5

I do like the sound of that, but if possible I'm trying to keep the car stock/ original as possible.

Are any of the Ford focus manual gearbox parts usable ?

There's never really been a decent source of parts to repair and recondition any of the Volvo manual transmissions.

If they're available exchange from Volvo that's your best option, otherwise an upgrade to the m66 with an LSD would be a massive improvement over the m59
