Since these headlamps have the one piece plastic chrome surround trim, they are 1981-1985 units.
The later type had one chrome trim on the top and one black trim down the side. Thus they have two screw holes each.
You can still fit these to a 1986-1993, but the arrangement for the trim parts is different. I know I’m being very picky, but the trims from a later 240 won’t fit these headlamps. If you want to be 100% technically correct that is
