DDB Hi, is it possible to replace the high pressure steering hose on a RHD 240 without lifting the engine or removing the subframe? Due to tight space, I'm unable to loosen the P clamp on the subframe that secures the hose.
ramrod You can either lift the engine or lower the frame whilst supporting the engine. It’s becoming apparent that Volvo didn’t anticipate owners would keep driving these things long enough that the hoses would leak and need replacing
DDB Could it be that the engine mounts have worn and sunk down? Does a fresh engine mount sit a lot higher? So much easier if this was a LHD
