Hi guys,

Lately, I'm beginning to have an issue starting my Volvo. It increases ever more so with every start up.

I've already determined it may not be fuel or air related, though I have half a tank full. I've also crossed out some electrical as I've tested the battery and charging. So I suspect the CPS again or starter motor. I'm going to add a video later of the issue.

Would anyone in the Sydney region be able to provide a CPS for testing?

9 times out of ten I find this problem is due to a poor negative connection. I would disassemble the negative wires, polish away any corrosion and then try again. The interior of the negative terminal in particular may need polishing up back to metal. A lead carbonate layer tends to form there, restricting electrical contact.
