Interesting stuff. So the studs should be 5.9mm (11.5-6.6) longer. I thought I was using the same studs F&R but I must be wrong because I’ve got about the same amount of thread proud of the nut. This of course assumes that the 164 hub flange is the same thickness as the 144 one. That may be the answer because I’m pretty sure I’m using my original 144 hubs. Something to look at.
Also interesting is that the holes for studs (16.5 vs 16.25) and retaining screws (7.5 vs 7.25) are different, albeit not by much.
Finally, I’m using 144 calipers with a spacer plate to get the greater pad surface area compared with the 164 calipers. The diagrams show I should have about a 2mm misalignment - 62.6 vs 64.5 inner face to inside of disk. I didn’t think I had that but I’ll certainly look at all that when I get the car back from Paris.
Thanks for all that info.
