Hi Guys,
First post, picked up a 1997 S40 SE 2.0 (NA) last night as a daily as I do not want to leave my current car at the train station all day, so it's being saved as a weekender.
I mainly got the car as a comfortable, reliable daily, and it won't do many k's.
I picked it up cheap as it needs engine mounts (as per usual), a timing belt and a full major service.
My issue is, being a 97 2.0 NA, it appears parts from America (where they are substantially cheaper) do not match up with it as it appears the US didn't get the S40 until 2000?
From research, I've been told (confusingly) that the timing belt kit for the 1.9T is the exact same and will suit the 2.0 model (which I am aware is really a 1.9), is this correct? From the Gates website it says its a 148 tooth belt.
As such, would a kit like this work on the car?

Thanks to anyone who can help!
