‘98 C70 T5 coupe refurb

Hi all,

I purchased a 1998 c70 last year as a bit of a hobby car. This has since turned into a complete refurbishment, which has so far involved the repainting of most of the car, as well as recovering the front seats.

I pulled the original dash to literally have it fall into a million pieces, which meant having to source another one. I ended up finding a silver 99 coupe with a black interior and decided I’d combine the beige and black, inspired by the S60 R with the gobi interior.

I’ve attached a couple of photos of the process so far.

Wow, that is hardcore. What a beautiful colour. And you're in SA as well. Great workshop, too. I used to have that drive and passion for working on cars, but had to move on from it and now it's a distant memory, but I can admire what you've managed so far.

Looking fantastic Jason - it’ll certainly be worth the effort & hopefully the pain will be a distant memory when completed.
