Hi,

Currently looking at purchasing a 2011 XC90 Rdesign 3.2. Just wondering what is specific to the R Design series as I can't find much in the spec guides as to what they get opposed to other variants. Took one for a test drive today and noted it had a nice little burble under acceleration. Did they get a sports type exhaust on them? Also what is the Geartronic 6 speed sports auto reliability like?

I own one of these and as far as I know the differences are mainly cosmetic trim on the interior and exterior, larger wheels and a dual exhaust. Mine also has sporty note to the exhaust. I’ve been quite happy with it apart from the terrible turning circle.
