Hi Greg,

I would be most grateful if you could draw the attention of your members to the fact that my wife and I are selling our Volvo 960 sedan

which is in lovely condition having always been in our family since new, currently travelled a genuine 73,260 Kms and has been regularly serviced

and driven carefully. My wife recently inherited a 2016 model vehicle and regrettably we have insufficient carparking at home for the Volvo, but

would prefer it to be owned by an appreciative person like a club member. We consider that it is ideal for an enthusiast as there is little to be done to make it immaculate.

It sailed through the roadworthy test yesterday and I imagine it is very reasonably priced for sale at $7,350.

I have enclosed a photo of the car (3 litre engine) and one showing the VN plate (VN YV1964956S1075246).

Could you kindly advise the date you advertise in your magazine. As you know , the roadworthy only lasts a short time and I wish to sell within this time frame.

YM 95 ('S' in the VIN).

Engine type 95, which means it's got the 204 BHP cams.

If the interior looks as good as the outside, this is a bargain. IMHO she will need a new timing belt / water pump / tensioners due to age as first order of business - she hasn't even got to the 100k km replacement mileage for cam belt replacement yet - and then she'll go forever.

Interesting - the engine doesn't have an air pump on the RH side for the PCV system.

That interior looks really good.

The tops of the door cards all go wrinkly because of the glue they used back then, but Skandix offers a kit which has covers that fit over the top edges of the door cards that looks good and hides the wrinkles.
