I have a number of front panels and front guards for 140 series cars. The first set are the early type (off a 1968 142), the panels are easily repaired, (comprising a front non vented type panel and both left and right hand guards with the lower cut type front guard), Cost is FREE.
1973/1974 type 140 front panel good shape $25, front guards, good shape $ 25 each
A pair of 142 doors (early type, external door handles) $50 each.
A flat hood 240 bonnet, $25
Later type 240 guards, Free
1986 model 240 wagon tailgate $25
I also have 3 early type B18 engine blocks, these are Free.
I have two M40 transmissions that were fitted to a 240 (these have the bigger gear ratio for first) $ 20 each
Five other earlier type M40's $20 each
Early type one piece 140 grill, I quite decent, the other two fair, $ 50 for the three

Pickup for these items is preferred, given the bulky nature of them.

I am intending to clean all this out by the 30th of June

Hello, l will probably want all the m40 box's.

And probably the front 68 early panels and grill for a friend here in TAS. I am travelling over with a ute on June 20.

No worries. There are some additional remote type shifter extensions as well (three I think) which I will chuck in with them. Cheers, Richard.

Hope you are well. I do have the Ute booked on the ferry on the 23Rd so can set up date to visit. Cheers, david

arebee Hi Richard, I've got a 240 GL Estate with a rusty tailgate, is there any chance of you snapping off a shot or two of your's? Many thanks….

Hi, no problem, will do tomorrow evening (gone quite dark now).

      Cheers, Richard.

Here's a somewhat fuzzy pair of pictures (my iPhone doesn't seem to take great photos at the moment….).

There are no rust holes anywhere, and apart from some dirt that has gotten onto the lower and outer surfaces, negligible surface rust as well.

      Cheers,

      Richard.

Thanks Richard, looks pretty straight to me, still trying to work out the odds of getting it back to Tas, certainly very keen to replace my rapidly decaying example….

Yes my days are huge at the moment. I don't get to look an non work messages much at the moment. The seven people I just employed will help ….eventually.

Yes I should be able to collect this with the other items.

1971_144GL I really appreciate it, very happy to pay something for the deed (or name your favourite tipple)…

I'm on the ferry on Monday night with the Ute. I'll be able to confirm a pick-up day soon. I'd also like to take a look at the b18 blocks please as I'm considering going backwards from b20 to original.

Hi, I'm hoping to collect next Friday afternoon. I'll also book a car trip back on the ferry this week. I'm still happy to transport it for you, so long as it's not desperately urgent. Weeks rather than days.

I do have one in TAS already if I remember correctly, but I think it's condition is not as good by far.

All good, like you I'm waiting on the shipment that James is doing battle with at the moment so plenty to keep me busy with in the interim, many thanks!
