Drives very nicely, handles really well for a 240 and does not at all feel like it has over 400k.
Over the years I have spent a fair bit making improvements, see below.
Suspension:
Bilstein B6 shocks/struts all round
DVS front springs
King rear springs
New bushes throughout (installed late 2016)
23mm genuine Volvo rear swaybar (very rare)
27mm Falcon front swaybar

I originally bought this car in 2015 and spent a fair bit of time making it as good as possible. All the common 240 issues have been addressed and I have a full list of maintenance completed. I’ve serviced it every 10k or less during my ownership. The car was originally auto and converted to manual in 2016.
I sold the car in 2019 after which it went through a couple of owners, one of which had an accident in it. I ended up getting the car back from him in 2021 and had it professionally repaired. The car still drives perfectly although there are a couple of signs that it has had repairs done, most notably the drivers side guard being a slightly lighter colour than the rest of the car.
I am currently daily driving the car and it drives very well.
Being 30+ years old there are a couple of minor issues:
Heater fan blower doesn’t work
Drivers side seat is sagging slightly (I’m still daily driving the car and this hasn’t been a big issue)
Some minor paint imperfections and a couple of broken interior trim pieces as most 240s have
Asking $5700. Negotiable within reason but would prefer to keep the car than let it go super cheap. Located in Canberra, can potentially help with transport to Sydney.
