V70 t6 wheel alignment

Can any body help with specs on above vehicle. Its a 2008 model. Just had alignment done but it didn't feel right, on checking found the car nominated was S 60 sedan. Go figure.

Have gotten info via SwedeSpeed but I believe it refers to 2007 v70r. Am I correct in thinking that given the similarities of that and a 2008 v70 the Important thing is how the tyres contact the ground, not how the adjustments are arrived at.

Come on you gurus of engineering and performance mods help a guy whose still in the the cart spring era.

If you want proper alignments you need a shop that does motorsports cars, that’s all you need, no point looking online as specs apply to your car as it sits. Plus, what you intend to do with it.

The S60 2007 specs are for your car. Same car, different shape

They are motorsports nutters, when I took my 850R there they had Subaru track cars. Plenty of wisdom.

Browns used to do all my track day wheel alignments, though I havent had a need for this sort of thing in a few years.

I'm not sure I'd completely trust SwedeSpeed as my 'source of truth' if you're seeking a performance/motorsport wheel alignment but it might serve as a useful starting point - the key, of course, is getting someone who understands their alignment rig really well and is interested in doing a vehicle that, to them, is a be unusual and then being willing to pay for an appropriate amount of time to get it done.

This service, as I'm sure we're all aware, is a long way from the wheel alignment that Jax or Bob Jane do when we throw some new tyres on a typical road car.

Very interesting you mention browns. Have been using them on and off since they opened,,,, Woops that gives my age away. And no I never owned a valiant whilst down in vic lol. Called there Tues but they seemed to be closed down. I sussed out local pedders and were impressed with their knowledge and attitude they were able to squeeze me in this Friday so I am prepared for sat sprint.

Will make comment after weekend .havent given Rodney a call yet hope they are still operating.

Ah, that sucks - Browns were really interested in 240s, way back when, and would always spend a heap of time to get an alignment done well rather than rush you out the door.

Keen for you to report back on the experience from your local Pedders too - knowing of somewhere capable of doing and interested in doing performance wheel alignments is great.

Hi ash. Pedders hoppers crossing was a surprise. Very knowledgeable re motorsport and happy to go the extra to achieve the specs that you want after discussing the pros and cons. Just returned from Phillip Island, will return to them to discuss driving feel, happy to go with their input. Think I'm going to need adjusterable camber and caster . Is that something you can facilitate.
