Hi! I recently purchased a 1969 142s and am loving it, however, the previous owner took out the clutch fan for performance reasons (he was driving it only on occasion). I am driving it more frequently and with the hot summer I’m a bit freaked out by the heat increase while I’m in traffic / sitting at a red light (hasn’t gotten hot hot yet and the previous owner has a water temp gage installed which puts my mind at ease a bit).
Does anyone have a clutch fan and blade for sale or one on a donor car i could buy? I have found online from America but conversion rates and shipping hikes the price. I am happy to pay for aus wide shipping and pay for its worth (provided it is working)!
If not, does anyone have a good recommendation on a good thermo fan that would suit?
Also if anyone has a 142 b20 engine I would love to pick your brains for a few random other bits and pieces (wondering what alternator I could upgrade to easily, which front windshield seal would suit etc - little random things I am struggling to find specific information about online)
