Which wideband?

Any recommendations for a wideband AFR guage?

I was hoping to combine the boost/vac and AFR into one guage but those seem pretty expensive. I already have a boost guage and I'm out of free spots in the 240 dash. I guess I could take the clock out.

I've been using this one for a few years without problems just fit and forget no calibration required

Motec PLM and ECM LambdaPro are priced pretty good in comparison to laboratory grade equipment.
One thing to note is that there are many consumer grade Wideband controllers on the market that can't produce accurate readings when there is a presence of exhaust back pressure. If you arn't making much power and you are running no boost then the cheapies will do. Just be aware that there will be around 5-8% difference in readings at low and high lambdas.

If you are not hunting for the best looking guage and just want a reading for tuning purposes and an output for an ecu:

If you select SLC Free B with LSU 4.9 it comes to $95CAD and $15 shipping (in most cases you can't even buy the sensor for that much, and this comes with a sensor, a controller, a display of lambda and egt, as well as a 5v output for an ecu or a narrowband imitation for the stock ecu)

As for accuracy, I've found that they pretty much all use the LSU 4.9 Bosch sensors and just have different controllers.
AEM sure looks nice but at $300+ it's kinda hard to justify.

Lol. Compared with laboratory offerings, they are still worth 2k for those two units.

The ones in the 2-300 range are fine for thousands of people and let you know what's going on enough to not kill your motor when tuning even with boost.

Thanks for all the tips. I couldn't justify $2k for a wideband although I've often wondered abou the accuracy of the cheaper units. I'm just after something to keep an eye on a daily drive B230FT on LH2.2 so it won't be for tuning as such. Just throwing a few mods at it and trying not to blow it up.

I'm on a innovate it's a simple purposeful gauge, that is also a data logger. And will link with other innovate gauges. (I'm sure most of the other quality gauges do the same.)
The kit for $220 which includes the Bosch O2 sensor unit is very good value.

I believe AEM, do a boost and wideband in one gauge combo. Which would be a nice unit to have. But also costs $400+

Simply your quality brands, AEM, defi, auto meter, innovate etc will all be more than sufficient.) for your needs.
