I would be looking at 1980s and early 1990s Japanese cars. Being a two wire, inbuilt regulator type with a V-belt (rather than multi-rib), that’s the most likely source.
Also be aware of the Japanese brand cars that were Australian built - they often have Australian made Bosch alternators (and starters and distributors) to bump up the local content in the car.
My first specific place I would be looking is at Mazdas from the mid-80s (their first generation of FWD cars, basically) because they had something visually similar.
