As it's local to me in Bathurst, I've been to have a look and while it will need a fair bit of work, I've seen worse.
The price started at $10K (!) and has been progressively dropping over time, at this point I think the owner would accept a reasonable offer.
I have quite a few pics that I took while I was there, if anyone wants copies, message me, or I can add them to the post.

Three grand for a somewhat tired looking 122 is a tad optimistic, but sort of possible for a committed enthusiast. Pity about all the weight on the roof and bonnet, I'd be expecting both to be showing dents as a result, which just adds to the degree of bodywork required… All the extra spares in the boot etc., is helpful. Would definitely need someone who is capable of repairing the bodywork and do the paint themselves, as it would make for an expensive project otherwise. But at least most of it appears to be there..
I checked it out last week and there's lots of parts but the floors/diff/front suspension are very rusty especially the drivers side floor. The engine is seized too and there's various small dents.
