Hi newby here,

the rear left passenger-side seat on my XC70 Cross Country AWD 2005 has become jammed in the folded down position - the seat-belt won’t release. My mechanic says it would be cheaper to replace the seat completely than to try to dismantle the seat and repair. I’ve found a 2006 model seat - can anyone tell me whether it would be the same as the 2005 please?

    BBBB Hi. Depending on which month your XC70 was built in 2005, it may be a 2006 model anyway as I was advised with mine which was assembled in September 2005. Either way, without certainty, you are probably fine with the seats.
