Problem started happening a week ago where I noticed a start/stop service required error when I pull out of the driveway and the check engine light was on. Later that day at the mall, when I tried to start the car, I got “press hold to start the engine” “please wait”, after turning off and on afew times it managed to start. Driving back I don’t notice anything different performance wise but soon as I got home, turned off and on, same issue again, won’t start. Tried again the second day same problem, maybe started after the 6-7 tries. More random errors would appear different after each start, eg: transmission, esr, etc, Called in racv thinking it might be battery related, the man said the starting battery seemed fine, didn’t think the aux battery would affect starting and manually cranked the starting motor which he said seems to work. Might be relay related. Couple of time after that, it starts but then the car would rev up abit, shake and turn off after 5seconds. Today had brand new batteries put in just incase, but didn’t make any difference. Should I get it towed to Berry or Voldat, I usually service there but abit far now that I moved, to get to assessed? Or there any obvious things to try? What to do next? Thanks so much!
