E fan/radiator swap from clutch fan 940

I'm swapping an electric fan/radiator from a 940 into my clutch fan 940. It has the factory mounts to bolt in and fit correctly, but this part of the airbox is in the way, and I didn't realise the air boxes may be different before I wrecked the doner car. What's the easiest way around it?

Something tells me you’ll need the lower airbox out of a 1992-

ramrod I think I could probably fix my problem with a silicone joiner, but if you have an airbox for a similar price, I may be interested.

Unfortunately I cannot help you with that sorry

ramrod for now, I've removed that contraption and running nothing, but will try to run an intake hose to the front of the car again.

So far $25 of pvc storm water fittings from Bunnings is a winner, reaches to the front at least.
