Aluminium late model rear calipers to suit 240?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a relatively bolt on solution using aluminium rear calipers for 240’s? Bonus points for a vented rear rotor too.
Perhaps Ford or I think P80 calipers have been mentioned previously, but those don’t appear to be aluminium from my limited internet research? They are only rear calipers, so was hoping to save a few grams with a junkyard caliper - I cbf making adapters or spending brembo money but happy to drill out some holes to make it work.

Apart from the part where they have become stupidly expensive in tbe last couple of years, I would be looking at the Evo/Skyline/WRX opposed twin piston caliper.

Depending on what you’re doing with the car and what front brakes/master cylinder arrangement you have, the old Commodore single piston sliding front caliper can be quite a good rear caliper too. These have the bonus of being cheap and readily available, too.

I can’t think of much else that I would choose, considering performance/availability/pad options - if you’re looking for better rear brakes, it quickly gets to the point where a set of P2 Brembo calipers becomes cheaper AND easier than the other options I can think of.

I was looking at the Subaru or Nissan branded non brembo rear calipers and they did look like a good option but even on marketplace they really aren’t cheap anymore and would require some effort for an adapter.
I currently run xc90 front discs and alfa 159 front brembo calipers, ford explorer master cylinder in a 1200kg 244, but was planning on fitting a dual caliper set up on the rear, without doubling up on the cast iron girlings. I figured going to a lighter calliper might offset the doubling up to a degree in terms of unsprung weight.

@timbo did mention something about a p80 caliper in another thread, I was hoping something like that or an xr5, or v40 would bolt on and be a little lighter, and be sub $100 from the wreckers.

Really your not going to save much weight as the pistons are still steel, and the caliper size is minimal to begin with.

Im curious as to what other weight saving areas your considering.

I’m not really sure what other weight savings to do. The car originally had manual steering but I’ve added astra epas as I need the assist and ratio of a power rack. No AC, and I’ve removed the rubber covered foam sound deadening under the carpet as it was perishing anyway. I don’t really want to sacrifice too much of the driving experience or safety of the car, so 144 doors and gutting the interior is out. I’ve simplified the brake set up by removing the factory proportioning valve to swap in an adjustable one, and removed the rear brake failure thingies. And of course coilovers and calipers. I’ve also swapped the brass radiator for a late aluminium one, bumpers for late model ones and fuel pumps for a single in-tank pump.
I’ll likely put in an older set of Recaro seats.
I’ve removed all the K-jet, but added all the turbo bits. Being honest, I’m probably a similar weight to where I started.
