Front sway bar shape with V8 swap

Does the sway bar used for a V8 swap in a 240 ( either Ford or LS) sit lower or further forward of the standard sway bar? Thanks.

If you are looking for additional clearance you can fit a Falcon sway bar https://ozvolvo.org/d/10624-10624

From memory the stock front sway bar on a Volvo's with the v6 engine similarly dip down to provide additional clearance. If you do manage to track one down, likely to only find one in 19mm diameter.

Not sure if they will restock these but STS Machining did do some that were specifically for a LS swap - here is the listing
