I am experiencing harshness under some acceleration situations, similar to a vehicle laboring in too high a gear. Also irregular idle RPM, almost cutting out at times.

Been happening long?
How many km on car?
City or hwy usage?
Started at last petrol fill or soon after?
If you drive it hard how does it respond? (Full throttle 20-100kph for a short onramp)

My thoughts are along the lines of
Bad fuel, dead sensor somewhere, worn out spark plugs, vac/boost leak,

Has been evident for about a month on and off
Vehicle has 131234 klm
Mainly short suburban trips with the occasional 100 + trip
Have had a few fuel fills
It responds quite well, but as mentioned there is a harshness similar to being in too high a gear.

Generally speaking, do they need replacement to be preventive around 130k mileage? Or we just use till it breaks?
