Silver cars are good at hiding how awful they are until you're up quite close.

I dropped my roof rails off to get painted today - I just need to find some clips and rubber 'feet' things for them and I can get them on once they're back.

Quiet weekend just gone. It was my wifes birthday so organised a surprise get-together for her and then spent yesterday hanging out instead of racing.
Not complaining, of course. It was nice to have a relaxed weekend for once.

I got the roof spoilers swapped over last night too.

Regarding the indicators, the broken one has pissed me off enough that I ordered some late C70 jewel indicators this morning.
I'll keep the same headlights though - there is nothing wrong with them.

Caliper brackets should be back before the end of the week.

Front shocks are still causing a drama. I'm at a point now where we have been able to ID all the parts required but things have gone dead one the supplier front.
If there is no further progress in the next fortnight, the thing is getting a pair of Konis or Bilsteins.
Then, I'll eventually got the seals for the Ohlins, rebuild them, fit new spring seats and strut mounts, re-gas them and sell them (or maybe tuck them away somewhere for the elusive T5R that may one day live here).
Annoying, but I'm running out of other things to work on and I'd like to do the RWC in the next month or so.

My hosting bandwidth has been exceeded again with a couple of days in the most remaining, so I might move some of my images across to imgur instead.

In other news, I have some timeframes around shocks. Seals are ready to ship directly from Ohlins but they need to make up a line for one of the remote reservoirs. Anyway, I should see them in late August.

Sometimes. We have one of those vibrating bouncers that you can strap him into.
He likes to sit in that on the workbench and watch what's happening. It's getting a bit cold in the workshop at home at nights now though, so we're doing that a bit less.

I did finally finish off the front bar fitment last night though - I was just waiting on the genuine Volvo plastic pop-rivets that hold the guard liners to the bar.
Also swapped over to the late C70 jewel indicators at the same time.

If I get time this weekend, I'll do the final fit up on the V70 (they'll then stay on the car) and finish the pics for the documentation and double check the fasteners list.
