Yep, support engine from top or underneath and drop the back section. Don't forget to loosen the links.
1 to 1.5h in the end so not a bad job.
Had any idea's on the subframe bushes? Can fit C70C ones but hard to do or buy the IPD fillers or I have a kit for testing from Fulcrum which fills top and bottom of the bush. You can test a kit....Let me know
Thanks mate!
I only found out about the solid C70C subframe bushes a little while back - I'd actually made up a set of solid aluminium ones for a customers 850 track car!!
I'm keen too on making a set up from Delrin - while they'd never fail, I think the increase in NVH for a road car, particularly one with firmer rate springs and low profile tyres would be too much.
In much the same way, I dont really like the inserts either - certainly better than a failed or quite worn bush, but still not a 'great' solution despite the improvement and relatively cheap cost.
If there was an insert that was softer than the urethane ones I've seen, it'd likely be a good thing.
I had a good look at the ones in mine yesterday. Looks like they'd been fairly recently changed so no need for me to change them over.
I was going to do swaybar bushes too but there was nothing wrong with the ones on the bar. I left them as they were.

Came with the LHD pod casing so it has to be swapped over with the RHD pod.
Might be an option if I cant get onto one. Even our buy-pricing for this is insanely high.
