Judging by the time it has been for sale you should be able to get it down to at least 4k. It is very original though.

While I'm really partial to 242s myself, I always struggled to find one I was happy to have as a startng point for a project.
What do you want to do with it?

@Effect001, Alex's (@Vee-Que) suggestion of contacting vic volvo club 242 registrar. Lance knows many of the 242GTs in the country and where they are and who owns them.
Often, he's the first person an owner speaks to if they wish to sell one.
