March 20 is drawing near (yearly bonus pay day). The final big round of 145 parts will be ordered. This is the boost the car and myself need.
I have the tailgate fully functioning now with a diy repair on the latch button tag. Tailgate locks, unlocks, opens and shuts perfectly. Sounds like a small thing but it's very exciting to have it fully functioning.. No more climbing over the back to open the tailgate.
Remaining detailed tasks in order:
Transmisson drain and fill (This weekend)
Pressure wash underneath (Next weekend)
Front shocks, all bushes, ball joints and tie rods ordered (March 20 - pay day).
Book the car into K D Flemming specialists in Launceston for fitment of all parts. Why? Because I can drop it off in the morning before work, pick it up in the arvo and it's all done and dusted. I just want this car ready ASAP. They're my go to guys for all suspension and steering work and are excellent old school wizards. (Aim is Mid April at the latest)
Exhaust repair and rego inspection at Carline Mufflers, Launceston. (I'm going to set the deadline here and say Friday April 21)
