Anthony Jaycar Electronics is selling the HKZ-101 Hall sensor that is used in the front mount dizzy of 240 1986-88 LH2.2. Less than $20 which is beyond a bargain as they were ~$100 years ago from Bosch and Volvo.. If you own a 240 1986-88, its worth having this important sensor as a spare. This dizzy is also used for B21/23/230 engines when fitted with a MoTec, Haltech etc as the Hall device generates a Home signal for an aftermarket computer setup. The Main signal is obtained at the crank pulley.
DCW242 Thanks! It's worth having a spare. I think the same sensor was also used on LH2.2 740s. http://www.jaycar.com.au/Active-Components/Other/Sensors/HKZ-101-Hall-Effect-Device-Re-introduced/p/ZD1900
