Yuri Thanks guys! So! I've ended up buying a V50. Not the AWD T5 but a very nice one which will fill the family duties perfectly. It's a MY10 2.4 V50 R-design with extensive service history and 62,000kms on the clock. It's in very impressive condition. I took two for a test drive back-to-back. The first one just didn't feel as solid or as well maintained despite having lower kilometres. And there were a few other little things like sticky door lock, wheel gutter rash with stone chips and dings. The one I chose didn't have any issues and although it's not a brand new car and does have wear and tear, it certainly was the best one by far.
