'99 S80 T6 - Lambda light on, but with no CEL/warning triangle or error messages.

Hi all,
Was rolling down the M3 today when the car decided to throw up the Lambda light at me. However, the car didn't change behaviour at all - the car still seems to build boost properly, coolant temps are consistent with what they should be, etc. There's no red warning triangle, nor any messages in the DIM. The light has stayed on ever since, with no change in behaviour, even after multiple restarts and sitting for a few hours, the little orange bastard continues to taunt me. Any ideas what can cause this? Searching isn't returning much info, only for when the Lambda error also triggers a CEL, and my generic OBD-II dongle with Torque isn't picking up any codes.

Probably needs plugging into Vida

They're pretty sensitive to boost leaks

Also like crapping o2 sensors, ETM was probably common too

Lovely, gotta find someone with a DICE in Brisbane now haha. Light is still on too with no change in operation so something is probably leaking or an O2 sensor is dead.

Is the s80 obd 2 compliant or can you use a led to pull codes similar to motronic 4.3?

S80s are all OBD-II/CANBUS only, no diagnostic LEDs. Anything that doesn't throw a CEL normally needs to be done with VIDA/DICE because of the CANBUS network in the car.
