I was reading through the original thread you started about the car, and it seemed pretty rough
Does she blow any smoke, burn or leak any oil, coolant or brake/power steering fluid?
Are you still having the power loss problems you were talking about before? Or is she now running well? Holding boost?
Would she make the trip from brisbane down to melbourne?

Runs fine, it had a failed air flow meter when i bought it. Brand new genuine one fitted and it runs a treat.
No leaks. No power loss, Holding boost fine.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Melbourne.. In fact I could possibly even do that.
The car was filthy when i got it, not so much rough. It is not perfect and I hope my price reflects that, but it is a good car.

Hi rob. What's involved in the removal of the 850 transmission and packaging it in the vehicle and me driving to vic in the next few weeks after Xmas , if Its possible to get a temp rego for such a trip. It would be an awesome project to complete. I know you mentioned something about removing the transmission in an earlier post.let me know your thoughts. Dean

I could pull it out, would save transporting 2 cars. Permit to drive it is pretty easy to organise also.

How many K's does the manual car have on it?

I am not sure which M56 it is. and I dont know how many kms are on the sedan.

You can look that up from VIN , even wiki has the vin breakdown on what where and when about the car. Easier than finding under the car , unless you are a dedicated volvo tech you can't tell.

Hi rob over the break I picked up a 850t5r man on gumtree in melb. Let's say its in great nick but requires some work on the wear and tear mechanicals .and a little tlc. Are the wiper motors available assuming they fit a 850t5r , thanks dean

@jamesinc Yeah.. It is definitely up for grabs but I'm not pushing it. I am not completely opposed to keeping it.
@dspetti I assume you are talking about the headlamp wiper motors? At this stage I want to keep them with the vehicle, If by chance it sells and the buyer doesn't want them I will let you know... If you are talking about other wiper motors let me know which ones, I am sure there are plenty floating around.
