So I have sourced a bmw maf. Wednesday I should receive my ecm from VAST with an ostrich set up. Does anyone on here share or upload tunes to discuss or anything? Or is that one of those forbidden secret type things?

Vast is sending me just the self tune set up, plus I had him add the ostrich set up. So im starting on my own.

1st off you'll need to get a coupler to connect the new MAF up, I got a really neat 1 piece right angle step up silicon joiner for mine, looks stock

Got the MAF and Greens installed. Did a little driving around lately to get used to the program. So far so good. Stock timing seems very conservative. Can anyone give their opinion and why or why not on that? Just curious how much people have added or taken out. Also any other advise would be great. Thanks guys so far yall have been great help.

The thread over on VS: http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic/159506-tuners-rejoice-free-tuning-for-m44/ will have more info in it, Id ensure AFRs are adjusted for to match the injectors, then read up on how these ecus calculate load & how the TCV duty cycle maps work and go from there

Just trying to safely turn the 19t up with greens and maf. FMIC is next and then I’m done. Tuner pro doesn’t work like past programs I’ve worked with for Honda’s like chrome and hondata. So this is kind of new . Just looking for some insight

Why not ditch the TCV for EBC, and upgrade mechanical safety like BOV and wastegate. I thought the benift of these ECU's was the wide responses to variables. I found my stock bin file had half the code not translated using 608 xdf.
