iceton1975 I went to this guys joint, to pick up the 760 Turbo he has a car collection of 300 plus cars, sadly all from UK with rust, The Turbo me and will got, Has rust in rear wells in Boot area, Battery tray hole size of 50c, Hole in inner guard lhf, I would replace full front end panels and RHR door due to rust, Inside the car 9/10 body 5/10, He has a guy doing resprays, who could be blind, and doing it with a hose pipe. Still an honest car BUT$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to be spent
Anthony I'm not clear on the gearbox in the car, - is it a Volvo M46 +O'Drive, or is it a Getrag. From description its a M46 (guess P version). If the case, the really desirable component is the bellhousing (PRV to Volvo box). The ultimate of course would be the bell housing and a Getrag. Anthony
Vee_Que Getrags are hard to get parts for. Imo that makes them not worth the effort. It will be an m46 to though because of it being a 7 not a pre 79 264. But even my b280 that is now basically E spec doesn't make enough power for it to be an issue I'd think.
