I just saw my box of green injectors while looking for where i stored my charge piping and silicon hose and i may have bought 5 but could have gotten 6 i must check , reckon 5 though....They were allegedly from Mustang ...

I can source a new one if I need to, but I just picked up 4 of them, tested and cleaned for less than my buy for a brand new one.

Who does the testing n cleaning and what cost?
Have always thought an ultrasonic cleaner is all you need isnt it? Replace the o rings and the filter basket and off you go?
Should get mine checked before whacking em in....

Lots of mechanical workshops, EFI specialists and auto electricians do cleaning and testing. They are ultrasonically cleaned, but the equipment and the solvent they use is specialised, they are hooked up to power and pulsed while in the cleaning bath.

We had a machine at TAFE and could do our own, the teachers said that 9 times out of 10 there was nothing wrong with them and no measurable amount of muck came out of them, however if you're putting injectors with an unknown history into a performance application, it's definitely worth doing regardless.
