If you have 740/940 alternator placement, you have to move the power steering pump to the right of the crankshaft pulley, they have a complete rebuild kit - see: A5-2-3F5
And this power steering should be on the reverse side: A7-4-2F9
Things to consider:
Be sure that the belt runs straight, it is 4-5 mm clearance at front and rear of the generator support, lay the tiles here or anywhere lathing new bushes in nylon, etc. so that the alternator cannot flex -
large washer on the generator will be on the outside of the pulley
Tip: you can even run with wide timing belt Volvo 8v if you have the wide 16V steel pinion
