Volvo 850 Wrecking - factory replacement engine with 70k only

The rego runs out on my 93 Volvo 850 GLE on the 14-March and the reverse gear has given up on the auto, so its time for it to meet the big Volvo garage in the sky, and donate some parts.

This had 1 previous doctor owner from new, up to 2011 when I bought it. He replaced the engine in 2009 with a factory replacement engine at the cost of $9700. Its done 70k since it was installed, and runs perfect.

I've got a place to store it in North Rocks so I was going to break it up. I am thinking $450 for the engine (you remove), but let me know if you need any other parts.

When you say the passenger quarter are you talking the outer guard, or the inner guard structure? I don't have power available where the car is in North Rocks if you need to cut with something?

The outer guard. It shouldn't require any power tools to remove. Just a lot of bolts.

Still for sale what does 450 for the engine include?

OK sorry chaps was using it until the rego runs out which is tomorrow. Amazing I have been using it to go to and from work with no reverse gear for the last 3 months! Shame to break it but I think replacing the gearbox is more than the cars worth.

For $450 you get the whole engine and ancilleries (throttle body, alternator, aircon compressor) but not the battery. You are welcome to drive it around the complex its in to test it out.

Yep its a 10V engine, B5252 I think is the engine designation.
