Haven't been here for a while. Unfortunately, I had a bit of an accident and my drivers door needed to be replaced. All people ok which is the main thing.
We have replaced the door and the inside panel. Then remembered we needed to change the lock. Have pulled the entire door handle off the old door - lock and all. Wanted to simply put the whole thing on the new door. Can't get then handle off the new door. All the instructions we have found show that we need to remove the 2 screws under the panel. Then loosen the 2 screws on the latch - that we can't do without stripping them. Does anyone know where there are clear instructions for doing this replacement.
