Vee_Que Bonnet pins, easier to leave them in than try repairing the bonnet I thought. Will suit the Motor and wheels i think.
AshDVS I thought that's what they may be. Be a little careful here as some bonnet pins will deem a vehicle unroadworthy, due to increased risk of pedestrian injury in a vehicle-pedestrian crash. Worth keeping in mind. I actually don't know if this has always been the case or if its a relatively new change. Of course, whomever does your RWC and club permit may not see it as an issue and you'll be fine.

I'm worried about it too,but I will be using the stock catch too. Hopefully will be fine for club reg.
deleted_user_160 Sharp protruding objects. Maybe remove the pins for now. OR screw them much much lower to the point where they fill the hole but don't protrude through. That should cover your ass
Philia_Bear Iirc there was some other form of bonnet latch that was aftermarket and cheaply available without any protruding bits
deleted_user_160 Sharp is anything that could lacerate or perforate a body in the event of an accident, Bonnet pins can. Especially the locks for the pins.
Vee_Que Got my latest b20 motor home. Going to pull it apart this weekend to measure the c.r and piston height. Seems I need to modify the intake flange ears to match the extractors though. Bonus is that the flywheel has been lightened!
