Vee_Que More progress! Thanks to Ellliot, Jay, Tri, Kristen, Julian for the assistance in stripping the paint back! Does have some filler underneath, but really not too much in it. Next is getting the engine sent off to be bored to 2.1 litres.
Vee_Que Bare metal doubles the work to do for my painter, all the rust has already been repaired except for one hole that was a hole that I turned into a bigger hole with my old gasless welder and have now fixed with my new gas mig...
A_Volvo_Driver Thats a shit of a job. Years ago I rubbed back a 65 XP Wagon by hand. It's good that you could trick some people into helping. While my car is there, get them to do the prep work on my car please :)

A_Volvo_Driver Lol Jay, I give you and Kristen permission to do the bodywork on my wagon while it is at the factory :)
A_Volvo_Driver Was planning on getting it all straight, and in white undercoat for OzVolvo in October.
A_Volvo_Driver I'm free Sunday, Alex. Will we get it driveable, and sanded in one day? I'll bring my front splitter on the train, for install too lol.
robv Are u painting the engine bay? Before u do it's a great idea to triangulate the chassis rails to the firewall, just about every 122 you see has cracked inner guard behind the cross member a couple of 45 degree supports back to the fire wall stops this flex and makes handling much better. Happy to call u and discuss
robv struggling to find a photo sorry, wasnt big on that in my era. got a few people looking to see if there is an engine bay photo.
Vee_Que I have another motor to put in, dummied it up for fun, will be putting a volvo box behind it. Need to rip the head off this motor, work out the c.r and deck the block to be zero with the pistons as its a b20e that was rebuilt by @Buerckner. Was going to go for a 2.1 overbore on the engine i bought from spac, but this is better value to make happen. The celica box will be used on another project in the future.
Vee_Que More progress, but found out last night I need to find the body trim line at the c pillar before it gets painted tomorrow.... The section i need to expose...
