Hi guys I'm new to this but maybe somebody might be able to help me, I have a 1970 formula 233 boat and I have 2 aq170 inboard (B30A) in her due to lack of maintenance by previous owners I am rebuilding the engines. I have 4 engines and will totally rebuild all, the drama I have is sourcing harmonic balancers I need 2 although I have had to source the cams from Europe. They triple soles crabs which I think are great can somebody point me in the right direction the first 2 engines are at the machine shop now getting the heads and blocks checked
They are hard to get.
I have made a couple of them in the past.
Did you get them made or did you d it yourself
I've got a couple of B30E's here but I don't know if the balancers are in usable condition or not, probably not.

My father has a 1947 Daimler, among other cars, and he's reconditioned balancers for it and others the same, by machining out the old rubber and machining the surfaces so that new rubber can grip the metal parts well, he then mounts the two pieces in a jig and takes it to a place in Melbourne that vulcanises new rubber into them.

They are a much bigger design than a B30 one, but it may be possible to do something similar.

I also have this among my parts for sale:
