An excellent idea. Although the shifter shaft may also need to be changed.
Longer term, I'd like to get together a list of the Australian T5 boxes, showing tag / ID numbers, ratios, dimensions, and front shaft bearing types (tapered / non-tapered), and complete gear / cluster / mainshaft part numbers. That way, people on the hunt will know exactly what to look for and what they're looking at. <p>

Is this Tree's car? Which input shaft did you use with the AU box? Did you swap it over or use the original?
