Wanted 245 wagon, anywhere in SA (i have a tow car/trailer to pickup). Reasonably complete/road registerable. Shoot me a PM if you know of any/have one for sale yourself. Looking to spend around $500-$1500 (may pay more if its in good nick) although i dont mind a project

Good nic, running nicely, just done a full service with new fluids, filters, plugs, leads, water pump, thermostat, battery etc. 150k miles. Auto trans. Has a one small rust hole in front quarter panel, structurally sound but showing the beginnings of surface rust in common places (rear window seal and fron windscreen) but at a point where fixing it now will stop it for good. Needs brakes sortes but otherwise just cosmetically challenged in a few spots. Fabric seats, vinyl lining and plastic mats, interior is 9/10 with exception of drivers seat being sunburnt and has two tears. Has factory 7 seater option which folds out of boot floor. Will post pics soon. It's tentatively sold to a bloke in NSW pending me getting him some more pics and a price to fix brakes.
Starting to think $2250 is too cheap! You're welcome to view it this weekend in Woodville Park if interested.

Awesome thanks for that, let me know what happens with ur nsw buyer.Im not one to mess around so im saying id need 2weeks(maybe less pending swmbo) to get the coin together if your nsw buyer pulls out.
Would be great to come down to av a look as I like the 140s but dont know much about them-cancer locations/things to look for plus I dont know anyone thats into volvos in SA!

You start to think too cheap cos you have a buyer or two interested but its just good timing and pricing...
Maybe if higher , no one would look , I had that with my 245....

Yeah, ideally I'd wait til all the work is done and put it on eBay. The person who's interested wants to keep it in their family for a long time so I don't have any problems with it going to them at the listed price, and I'm not losing any money either so can't complain.
