Hey guys,

Finally got my act together and decided to upload some photos of my slow growing collection.

Its a 2002 S60 Manual non turbo. It was posted on here in the radar section earlier this week, I picked it up New Years Eve.

Rear 02 sensor on the cat is throwing a code. It drives great but needs a bit of love.

My plans are to swap all the good bits out of my V70 into it and get it back on the road and then look at a +T quick build or find a T engine to rebuild and swap in.

The S40 is up in the for sale section as I am parting it out currently.

I'll throw up some shots of the V70 when i take some.

if you want a cheap fix for the rear 02 coding i have previously used an "02 spacer" to fix this issue they cost $15

So..... Almost time to start modifying the S60. I've had it for a few months now and have picked up on the likes and don't likes.

Once the S40 and V70 are gone and I have room in the shed it will start its slow progression.

Will do
Lowered springs
Shock absorber upgrade
Brake upgrade
Retrim door cards
Fix centre console cup holder cover
R spaceball shifter install
Headunit swap from V70
Speaker upgrade
Fix paint on roof trim and spoiler
Fix bumps and knocks around body
Upgrade headlights or perhaps driving lights (shocking on low beam at night)

I was going to do a turbo motor but am now thinking I just want this as a daily driver and will put a turbo motor into a 122 shell or something.

Yeah got one sitting in the shed so thought I should fit it......just need to get around to it

Ha , i dislike the spaceball so much , its the first thing to go in an R for me....

I like the spaceball personally and the difference of opinion is one of the best things about the car scene because no two tastes or cars will ever be exactly the same.

Having said that my reason for changing is more the boot is badly worn and looks foul, I know I could buy another boot but why do that when I have a whole R shifter collecting dust in my shed that won't cost me anything to fit.

Just hit 6 months and 229,000k's with the car so I decided to give her some attention (and make this post to remind me when I did things.)

-Full oil change with nylon full synthetic 5w-40
-Oil filter and cartridge change
-K&N panel filter
-Power steering flush (900ml) with Penrite LDAS -CHF-11S

Need to do,
-coolant flush and refill
-PCV replacement - thinking about putting in a catch can if anyone has any tips
-gearbox flush and replacement (once I work out how).

Deleted the rear muffler on Friday. Really impressed, I didn't want a loud exhaust just a bit of noise under load and its achieved that, plus dropped around 5kgs in weight. inside the cabin it's barely noticeable Volvo S60 rear muffler delete:

Worked out how to do a gearbox drain and refill so now just waiting to do a Viva order.

Coolant flush will happen as soon as I get some demineralised water.

Still need to work out how to get a catch can in the PCV system
