Does anyone have a Garrett T3 42/48 they're willing to sell? It doesn't have to be from a Volvo.

It's for the Hilux, but I'm not ready to turbo it yet. I need to get the diff fixed, it's been off the road since about September last year.

Factory 4.875 is difficult to find, they were only fitted to 79-83 and some later models with a Y series engine.

In any case, I want to get my diff centre rebuilt. I've been quoted 700-1000 depending on what's wrong with it. I just haven't had time to remove the diff centre yet, I haven't properly moved into the shed yet.

I'm pretty sure I've got a water cooled 42/48 here that would suit your needs, it's the original turbo from my 760T. It needs a rebuild kit, and the flange is the stepped Volvo type, but I could organise for it to be machined flat.
