DCW242 It was for sale a few months ago, when it was for sale before I think it had a 142 parts car included,
Crabolsky140 Yes sir. Its a manual Twin Stromberg variety. It needs a bit of work and I would think priced a bit high.
egads (she/her) Hmm, might try an persuade Natalie that I need this. Might have to sell 74 145 for space though.
Crabolsky140 Let me know if you're considering it. I had a dialogue going with him a few months ago. Didn't see it in person but got additional photos from him. Said it was running fine when he bought it a few years ago but it's been parked since.
egads (she/her) Can the 1/4 setup get transplanted in? I would be happy with early doors and late glass if some magic swapping could happen?
egads (she/her) Ah, damn. Good for safety though. I will pitch that as the reason I need to buy this :-P
Crabolsky140 Thats the one. It would be nice if you were able to share an entire album indebted in the page. Is this possible? Anyway more can be found here... https://plus.google.com/photos/101330069770384469423/albums/5985015436711276577
Major Ledfoot Thanks Ben. Ooooo - it's got the maroon / red interior trim like my twins have, too... (and it's worth noting that VP Auto Parts have NOS and reproduction seat and trim items available in that hard-to-get colour)
Crabolsky140 Nice! It looks like you can get all new upholstery for the seat in leather (or is it vinyl) for about $1000 AUD. I wonder what it would cost get them made from scratch down here?
jrc This brings back memories. I had one of these (man/white/red seats) from Jan 79 to July 80 (110,000km) when I bought a 245. Enjoyed it and did 30,000 km in it. After all these years this one has extraordinarily low km. Worth a good look over the weld seams and effects of any water that might have got in from Volvos unique ventilation system design.
